Battling Brook is a large single academy primary school with 603 pupils on roll at present. We are looking to appoint an Assistant Head Teacher who will work alongside the Head Teacher and Senior Leadership Team, in delivering the schools aims of EACH (Equality, Active Learning, Community, Health and Happiness).

We are looking for an Assistant Head Teacher who:

• has knowledge and experience of leading change for vulnerable children

• is committed to continual improvement for themselves, staff and children.

The post requires you to: -

• Work alongside the Senior Leadership Team, to lead the school with a focus on improving outcomes for children and ensuring that the schools vision is fully implemented.

• Be responsible for the day-to-day teaching of a group of children/class with allocated leadership and management time (no more than the equivalent of 2 days)
