SEN Teaching Assistant

Fixed Term Contract until July 2027 or as long as school is in receipt of funding.

Salary: Grade 6 Point 9-10 £15,201 - £15,454 (Actual Salary)

Hours: 27.5 hours a week – 8.45am – 3.15pm, 39 weeks per year

Additional hours available from 7:30 am

Start Date : As soon as possible

We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant with experience of working with ASD pupils to work in KS2. We require an individual who works well within a team, is hard working, flexible, good humoured, patient and resilient. The suitable candidate will also have the ability to use their own initiative to help support children’s individual needs.

The successful candidate will be:-

• Be committed to contributing towards improving outcomes for all children
• Be able to support children, either individually or within a group
• Be forward thinking able to use initiative and adapt to changing needs.
